Spectacles
Spectacles made properly, under one roof.
Hundreds of frames, every lens type, and a workshop in the shop that cuts and fits them. Most people spend a single visit here: test, choose, and walk out seeing better, often the same day.

Frames
Frames for every face and budget
Real inventory, photographed in the shop.

The range runs from budget-friendly frames that will last to titanium and gold-finish pairs, with kids' frames, half rims, rimless and magnetic clip-ons in between. Every family is on the collections page.
One of the most common things customers say in their reviews is that they were shown the right frame, not the expensive one. That is deliberate. A frame you love and wear every day is worth more to us than a bigger bill.
Lenses
The lens matters as much as the frame
Frames define your style; lenses define how well you see. We stock the common single vision powers, so many pairs are ready the same day, and order progressive, high index and specialised lenses to your prescription.
Blue cut for screens, progressive for over-forties, photochromic for people in and out of the sun, high index for strong powers, anti glare for night driving and polarised for the road: each one is explained, with a working demo, in the Lens Lab.
- Lenses from leading manufacturers and trusted value options
- Progressive, high index and specialised lenses ordered to your prescription

Honest pricing
What decides the price
Every pair is a frame plus two lenses, and both have a range.
The frame
Budget-friendly to premium titanium and gold finish. Material, make and finish set the price.
The lens type
Single vision is the simplest. Progressive, high index and photochromic cost more because they do more.
Coatings and extras
Anti glare, blue cut and scratch resistance. We will say which are worth it for you and which are not.
Aftercare
After you walk out
Adjustments, nose pads, cleaning and minor repairs are part of the service, even years later. Read how to clean spectacles properly, what to do when a pair starts to loosen, and what is normal in the first week with a new pair.
Spectacle repair
Nose pads, loose temples, screws and adjustments, even on pairs bought elsewhere.

Questions people ask us
Honest answers, in the same words we use across the counter. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.
How long does it take to make spectacles at Ami Optics?
For many common prescriptions, about 30 minutes, if the lens is in stock. Progressive, high index and specialised lenses are ordered to your prescription and take longer; we tell you the date when you order.
Can I bring a prescription from another optician or an eye hospital?
Yes. Bring the prescription and we will make spectacles to it. If it is more than a year old we may suggest a quick re-check first.
Do you sell branded lenses?
Yes, lenses from leading manufacturers as well as trusted value options, so we can recommend by your prescription, routine and budget rather than by brand alone.
Do you have ready-made reading glasses?
Yes, we keep ready readers for simple near powers. For anything beyond a basic reading power, or if your two eyes differ, lenses made to your prescription are the better buy.
What price range do your spectacles cover?
From budget-friendly frames with single vision lenses to premium titanium or gold-finish frames with progressive lenses. Message us your prescription for a clear idea across a few options.
