Types
Which lens suits you
It depends on how often you will wear them and what your eyes need.
- Daily disposableA fresh pair every day. No cleaning, the easiest start.
- MonthlyOne pair for a month, cleaned and stored each night.
- ToricFor astigmatism. Weighted so the lens sits at the right angle.
- MultifocalDistance and reading in one lens, for over-forties.
- ColourA tint or a change of eye colour, in plain or prescription power.
Daily disposable
The simplest start
- A fresh, sterile pair every day
- No cleaning, no case, no solution
- Best for occasional wear, sport and first-timers
- Costs more per day if you wear lenses every day
Monthly
The economical everyday choice
- One pair, worn for up to a month
- Cleaned and stored in fresh solution each night
- Best value for daily wear
- Needs a little discipline with hygiene

Your first pair
- 01
A current prescription
Contact lens power is not always the same as spectacle power, because the lens sits on the eye rather than in front of it. We start from a fresh test or a recent prescription.
- 02
Learn the handling
You practise putting a lens in and taking it out at the counter, with us, until it feels normal. We stay with you until you can.
- 03
The care routine
Which solution, how to clean and store, when to replace the case, and what never to do.
- 04
Build up gradually
A few hours the first day, a little longer each day over a week, so your eyes settle in.
Care
Looking after them
Most contact lens problems come from water, old solution and lenses worn past their date. The habits that prevent them take under a minute a day, and we go through them before your first pair goes home.
Colour
Colour and cosmetic lenses
Colour lenses come in plain (zero power) and prescription versions and are fitted with the same care. The shade on the chart shifts a little over your own eye colour, so we help you choose one that looks natural in daylight.
Please buy colour lenses from an optician rather than a cosmetics counter. The fit still matters even when the power is zero.

Questions people ask us
Honest answers, in the same words we use across the counter. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.
Can I get contact lenses if I have astigmatism?
Yes. Toric lenses are made for astigmatism and are weighted so they settle at the correct angle on the eye. They come in daily and monthly versions.
Are daily or monthly contact lenses better?
Dailies are the simplest and most hygienic: a fresh pair each day and nothing to clean. Monthlies cost less for everyday wear but need a nightly routine. We help you choose by how often you will actually wear them.
Do you teach first-time wearers how to put lenses in?
Yes. You practise with us at the counter until you can insert and remove them comfortably, and we go through the care routine before you leave.
Can I use my spectacle prescription for contact lenses?
Not directly. A contact lens sits on the eye rather than in front of it, so the power and the fit are worked out separately from a current test.
Do you keep contact lens solution and cases?
Yes. Solutions, storage cases and accessories are in stock.
Can I sleep in my contact lenses?
No, unless a doctor has prescribed lenses specifically for overnight wear. Sleeping in ordinary lenses is one of the biggest causes of eye infections.
Do you sell coloured contact lenses?
Yes, in plain and prescription powers, fitted with the same care as any other lens.
